Mike Clark

Mike Clark is an extremely experienced PGA professional with over 25 years within the industry. Having competed at national amateur level as both junior & senior level he went to play a number of years on the PGA’s South Region circuit and a number of developmental tours in the UK after joining the paid ranks. With a wealth of coaching experience, he has coached all levels of player, from complete beginners to assisting players at European Tour level. 

Golf equipment and technology have always been a passion of Mike’s. He has always been keen to introduce detailed technique analysis and club fitting into his coaching as a way of helping his clients to get the most out of their game. This passion led him to move into this area of the industry full time including 9 years working for Callaway Golf in their European Performance Centre as their Senior Fitting Technician. During this time he helped a myriad of golfers from the beginner to Challenge & European Tour players and numerous celebrities and even one ‘Crown Prince’. He accumulated a wealth of technical knowledge on both the Callaway & Odyssey brands while there having had wonderful access to the company’s prolific R&D department and other industry leaders linked to the brands.

After leaving Callaway to focus full time on coaching Mike developed a glowing reputation working at Precision Golf, Surrey, UK and Sunningdale Heath, Surrey UK, where he was the putter coaching and fitting specialist.

Mike has worked closely with Phil Kenyon for many years including working alongside Phil in his role with Callaway/Odyssey. During that time they co-developed the UK Odyssey Fitting Programme. 

As Mike developed his own coaching he was a frequent visitor on Phil’s Putting Solutions Training Programmes during which Phil and Mike developed a close supporting relationship. This ultimately led to Mike becoming part of the Phil Kenyon Putting Team, heading up the Phil’s London studio based at Tee Box, London for a number of years.

This experience & expertise in Putting coaching & putter fitting is now available in Surrey at two fantastic venues in Surrey.
